At Verizon, our strategic sourcing team drives effectiveness and efficiency across the organization while providing deep insights on how to connect with the markets.
Amid all of the changes in the past year, Krista notes just how critical this team was in taking charge and leading through a crisis, pivoting to source personal protective equipment (PPE) and tackling urgent challenges around logistics, contact centers, travel, benefits and other categories during the ongoing pandemic.
At its core, Krista says her team is most passionate about making change happen by bringing people together through strong direct and indirect leadership.

For Krista, one of the most rewarding parts of her role is making an impact in nearly every part of the business and brainstorming innovative ways to drive collaboration across the enterprise.
“Most everything in the business leads to the markets and sourcing. We get to be a part of and learn about almost everything,” she said. “We have the opportunity to connect the dots and build solutions.”
