What you’ll be doing…

As a Verizon Client Executive (CE), your role will be to drive subscriber growth and expand Fios services within the multiple dwelling unit (MDU) community. This will involve leveraging your B2B experience to secure contracts, specifically negotiating Premise Access Licenses for network construction, Marketing Agreements for co-marketing all Verizon services, and Strategic Services like Managed WiFi and Bulk Agreements for property-wide service contracts. Through these efforts, you will secure preferential or exclusive positioning for Verizon's Internet, TV, and Voice services for residential end-users.

Your client base will consist of multi-family property owners, including Homeowner Associations and rental properties, as well as their developers and builders. These communities vary greatly in size, from hundreds of units per property to tens of thousands across single portfolios. By partnering with these owners, Verizon gains marketing access to residential customers who are highly likely to purchase Internet, TV, and Voice service bundles. These contracts are vital for Verizon's top-line revenue growth, impacting subscriber penetration, RCM, churn, and competitive advantage

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Verizon cross-functional stakeholders such as local Verizon Engineering, Marketing, Contract Management, and Operations.

Your Responsibilities will include:

New Business Development:

  • Independently researching and identifying new business opportunities. Engaging prospects through various channels, including in-person meetings, phone calls, emails, and social media, to present solutions and connect with suitable buyers in target markets.

  • Identifying key influencers and decision makers to determine buying criteria and timelines.

  • Building and cultivating relationships with key clients through ongoing communication and engagement.

  • Conducting a needs analysis and identifying the client's pain points to determine how solutions address those needs.

  • Maintaining accurate and logged client communications and information within company databases for both new and prospective clients, ensuring all relevant documents are attached.

  • Preparing and analyzing sales pipeline reports and dashboards.

Relationship Management & Negotiation:

  • Establishing and leveraging effective customer relationships to position Verizon as the provider of choice for broadband services among owners, builders, and developers.

  • Negotiating and finalizing long-term contracts for Verizon's marketing and owner-paid Bulk program. This will generate new business and increase subscriber growth for Verizon.

  • Understanding the competitive environment and Verizon's technical advantages to present capabilities in a consultative manner.

  • Participating in local/regional industry events and forums, including owner, builder, and developer trade associations, presenting Verizon's programs and capabilities.

  • Collaborating with local Outside Plant Engineering (OSPE) teams to champion Verizon's Enhanced Communities initiatives. Utilize OSPE's expertise to identify and pursue new construction engineering opportunities

The territory for this position will support New York, NY.  Employees must reside no more than 50 miles from their assigned sales territory or module.

What we’re looking for…

You are passionate about sales, service and building lasting relationships. You take interest in learning about the multifamily market developers and owners and use your business acumen to establish credibility and deliver solutions. When you negotiate, you effectively balance the customer's needs with your need for results in a win for everyone. You’re energized by the prospect of landing the next big account.

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • One or more years of experience consulting, including prospecting and sales planning.

  • Experience in value-based selling.

  • Experience managing a funnel in a quota-based environment.

  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 60% of the time.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Willingness to work occasional evenings for key business needs.
