Launch your career with the Global Network & Technology Leadership Development Program (LDP). This 2.5-year entry-level program, part of the Verizon Campus Program, is your chance to gain hands-on experience and develop your leadership skills. You'll complete five rotations in our Wireline Network Operations business unit, where you'll:

  • Tackle real-world challenges in areas like FiOS Field and Center Operations and Customer Technical Support. You'll evaluate operational trends, troubleshoot network issues, and participate in initiatives to enhance customer and employee experiences. 

  • Strengthen your skills with structured assignments and an enterprise-wide curriculum focused on management and leadership. 

  • Gain hands-on leadership experience from day one by working alongside seasoned leaders in the field and center. 

  • Work directly with our field crews and center teams of unionized frontline associates, gaining a deeper understanding of our network operations from the ground up.

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives by providing insights on performance metrics and identifying opportunities to reduce costs and boost efficiency.

You must be currently enrolled in a degree program and be in good academic standing to be considered.

In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager. This hybrid role will be based out of Boston, MA; Washington, D.C.; Bridgewater, NJ; or New York, NY. If relocation is required, relocation assistance may be available.

What we're looking for…

You're someone who is driven to exceed expectations and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You're adaptable and dependable, with a talent for learning quickly and taking smart risks. You are passionate about making a real impact in your community and at your company. 

You'll need to have:

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Organizational Leadership, Communication, Construction Management, Project Management, Operations Management or related major with a graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or a need for future sponsorship.

  • At least six months of full-time or part-time work experience, including campus work-study positions.

  • One or more years of leadership experience through work, school, or community involvement.

  • The ability to work in Washington, D.C.; Boston, MA; Bridgewater,,NJ; or New York, NY, and be willing to travel and relocate.

  • Valid driver’s license.

Even better if you have one or more of the following: 

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

  • Coursework or experience with fiber optics, telecommunications, project management, resource management, financial management, or business and communication systems.

  • Excellent quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • The proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

  • Experience with advanced modeling and operations research.

  • Telecommunications experience is a plus.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $62,500.00 - $102,000.00.

The annual salary range for the New York location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $62,500.00 - $102,000.00.
