What you'll be doing…
As a Senior Manager in the Verizon Business Group (VBG) Product & Marketing Business Development team, you will be responsible for driving our strategic product partnerships for
the Verizon AI Connect (GPUaaS) portfolio. You will work cross-functionally with the Product, Marketing, Pricing, Sales, Finance, and Legal teams. You will craft a long-term vision for the partner strategy and adjust along the way as needed.
Manage large and complex partnerships to land deals for future products that enable Verizon AI Connect portfolio roadmap.
Define, negotiate, and close complex product, distribution, marketing, and technology agreements with multiple neo-cloud partners.
Drive complex deals to resolution through both internal and external communications.
Craft documents that frame a deal/partnership issue and drive to completion.
Represent Verizon in meetings with executives, both internally and externally.
Span various product areas across VBG and strike deals that provide the best outcome for Verizon.
Work cross-functionally with product management, product marketing, legal, finance, and engineering teams to negotiate deal terms and advocate internally on behalf of partners.
Forge strong relationships with external partners and cross-functional teams to get it all done.
Define KPIs and assess performance for continuous improvement.
Participate in business case development and presentations for alignment with working teams.
Develop, drive, and align teams to a multiyear roadmap.
Test out new ideas and concepts for feasibility and market potential.
Drive escalations to internal alignment.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Six or more years of work experience in technology management and partnerships, preferably related to Datacenters and/or AI Network Infrastructure and Edge.
Six or more years of partner-facing experience.
Experience developing product business cases.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A Master’s degree – ideally an MBA.
Strong background/experience in partner management for Cloud AI platforms.
Exceptional communication skills; written, oral and presentation.
Executive grade presentation skills with emphasis on storytelling and cross-functional alignment.
Analytical and critical thinking skills.
Technical knowledge and learning mindset.
Convey your ideas in compelling and persuasive ways to a variety of audiences.
Proven ability to manage deadlines in a highly-complex, fast-paced environment.
Experiencing leading teams, especially cross-functional teams, with the ability to execute on multiple assignments independently and proactively.
Mentor team members, foster their growth, and identify areas for skill enhancement.
Experience working in an evolving and collaborative environment and working cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally.
Experience developing strong working relationships inside and outside Verizon.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $128,000.00 - $223,000.00.
