The Senior Product Manager position is responsible for leading the product strategy, lifecycle management, and go-to-market activities for Verizon’s AI Connect and Network Programmability service. Product Manager is expected to commercialize a product from an Idea, engaging several stakeholders internal and external to Verizon. The product manager will be defining the product vision and roadmap, conducting market research and competitive analysis, gathering customer requirements, collaborating with technical teams on development and delivery, and partnering with marketing and sales to drive adoption and revenue growth. The role also involves monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), managing the product’s P&L, and identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Define product strategy and develop product roadmap for AI Connect portfolio aligning with the overall company goals and market demands.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning for Strategic Connectivity products (IDS, L3VPN, Ethernet, Cloud Fabric).
Collaborate with marketing, sales, pricing, and operations teams to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans, product positioning strategies, ensuring a successful product launch and strong market adoption while reducing the time to market for new product features.
Define, Articulate, Track and Report Product Metrics to Product, Marketing, Finance and Sales periodically.
Understand the drivers of next-generation network and security needs and work closely with the engineering and network teams to translate customer reqs into technical specifications.
Oversee E2E product lifecycle from ideation and concept development through design, feature prioritization, development, testing, launch, and post-launch mgmt.
Utilize Agile or similar frameworks to ensure iterative progress on product features and functionality.
Increase the customer acquisition and retention rates with strong product adoption of AI Connect and Programmability offerings.
Define performance service-level agreements (SLAs) and ensure that the product’s performance and availability meet the required standards.
Develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams incl. engineering, operations, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful execution of the product strategy.
Ensure communication with leadership and provide regular updates to executives on product performance and strategic direction.
What we’re looking for…
You have strong strategic skills, with the ability to identify and assess key points, implications and recommendations; proven ability to structure business cases around a high-level strategic vision. You have the ability to articulate customer needs internally so they can be translated into a finished product. You have excellent communication skills both verbal and written with advanced presentation skills including demonstrated experience with executive level customer presentations. You are able to work on a team and independently on multiple high priority projects. You have proven interpersonal skills, plus proven relationship building abilities.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience in understanding product development and management life cycles.
Must have both a technical and commercial understanding of the network business.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Proven product management experience demonstrating execution of a product roadmap, moving a project from inception to completion.
Deep data and analytic orientation for evidence-based decision making.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and motivating/inspiring them to go the extra mile, even in uncertain circumstances.
MBA or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
Understanding of Verizon's domestic and global product offerings across Connectivity and MNS portfolio.
Experience prioritizing and executing multiple projects at a time.
Passion and determination to make a difference in the communications industry and in our world.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $124,000.00 - $238,000.00.
