As a Senior Security Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of protecting sensitive data and helping clients navigate the complex world of security. You'll use your deep expertise to lead critical PCI-DSS assessments and help businesses build a more secure digital world. This isn't just about checklists and reports—it's about making a tangible impact on our clients' security posture and building a legacy of trust and expertise.

You’ll play a pivotal role as a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), leading projects with autonomy and acting as a trusted advisor to clients. This is a dynamic, remote position that will have you collaborating with people across the globe and occasionally traveling to client sites to validate technical and physical controls.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead with expertise: Take the lead on comprehensive PCI-DSS assessments, guiding clients through the entire process and providing expert consultation.

  • Uncover critical insights: Methodically collect, organize, and analyze evidence across various platforms and applications to identify gaps and ensure compliance.

  • Build strong relationships: Schedule and lead engaging technical interviews with a wide range of client stakeholders, from subject matter experts to executive leadership.

  • Drive improvement: Deliver clear and concise reports, metrics, and presentations that not only highlight gaps but also provide actionable recommendations for remediation.

  • Mentor the next generation: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, helping them grow their skills and expertise in the security field.

  • Create compelling deliverables: Write detailed, high-quality technical reports and supporting documentation for clients and card brands. You'll also craft and deliver executive presentations to C-level audiences, translating complex findings into clear, impactful insights.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • Hands-on experience as a PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).

  • Experience in the following disciplines: Application Security, Network Security, IT Security Auditing, and Information Security Risk Assessment.

  • You must hold one active Information Security certification from this list: CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.

  • You must hold one active Audit certification from this list: CISA, GSNA, or ISO 27001 Lead/Internal Auditor.

  • Willingness to travel up to 75%

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Additional PCI certifications such as 3DS, QPA, P2PE QSA, SLC, SSF, PFI, or CPSA.

  • Experience with leading cloud security assessments and holding active cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Experience negotiating interchange rates for merchants.

  • Experience using AI tools to automate tasks, such as report generation or data analysis.

  • The ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally. You should be comfortable leading discussions, providing clear direction, and presenting complex information to diverse audiences.

  • Autonomy and teamwork: Demonstrated ability to thrive independently while also collaborating effectively with a team to meet project deadlines.
