We're looking for a senior manager who is passionate about creating and implementing cutting-edge AI and data analytics solutions that will directly impact Verizon's vast portfolio of real estate. You'll lead the charge in creating the next generation of intelligent buildings.

Join us in revolutionizing the built environment. As a Senior Manager, you'll pioneer the use of AI and advanced analytics to optimize our global real estate portfolio, building the tools and models that will make our spaces smarter, more sustainable, and more productive.

  • Lead the AI/ML and Data Analytics Strategy: Develop and execute the long-term vision and strategy for leveraging AI, machine learning, and data analytics to optimize Verizon's global real estate portfolio.

  • Translate Business Needs into Technical Solutions: Partner with stakeholders across Global Real Estate (e.g., Property Operations, Transactions, Energy , Strategy, and  Finance) to identify business challenges and translate them into actionable data and AI projects.

  • Build and Deploy Analytical Solutions: Lead the design, development, and deployment of data models, dashboards, and AI/ML applications to improve decision-making related to real estate transactions, space utilization, energy consumption, and facilities management.

  • Manage Data Governance and Quality: Oversee the collection, cleansing, and management of diverse real estate data sets to ensure data integrity and reliability for all analytical initiatives.

  • Drive Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in AI, data science, and the "PropTech" (Property Technology) sector to continuously innovate and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Lead and Mentor a Team: Recruit, lead, and develop a team of data scientists, data analysts, and engineers, fostering a culture of curiosity and continuous learning.

You must be currently enrolled in the MIT LGO degree program and be in good academic standing to be considered.

In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.  This hybrid role may be open to Verizon Hubs: Basking Ridge, NJ (NYC area); Manhattan, NY (NYC area); Irving, TX (Dallas area); Alpharetta, GA (Atlanta area); Ashburn, VA (DC area); Boston, MA; Cary, NC (Raleigh-Durham area); Irvine, CA (Los Angeles area); and Lake Mary, FL (Orlando area) If relocation is required, relocation assistance may be available.

You’ll need to have:

  • Current enrollment in an MBA or Master's degree program with a focus in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field with a completion date between December 2025 and June 2026.

  • This position is limited to students enrolled at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management who are currently enrolled in the MIT Leaders for Global Operations (LGO) Program.

  • 4+ years of progressive responsibility within Business, Operations, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Construction Management, Project Management, Program Management, or a related field. 

  • Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon Hub. 

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and advanced analytical skills.

  • Proven ability at engaging and influencing functional leaders and stakeholders.

  • Experience in strategic projects and change management, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Motivated, results-driven attitude with excellent communications skills

Compensation

The starting salary for this position based on a full time schedule is $165,000 annually.






 

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

Depending on the role, employees have the opportunity to receive compensation in the form of premium pay such as overtime, shift differential, holiday pay, allowances, etc. Newly hired employees receive up to 15 days of vacation per year, which grows with additional service. For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $98,500.00 - $188,000.00.
