What you’ll be doing
Are you passionate about ensuring best-in-class installation quality and guiding customers and partners with confidence? As a Sr. Analyst in Field Services, you’ll be the expert voice of Verizon Connect installation standards—bringing deep knowledge of telematics hardware, low voltage electronics, and vehicle systems to ensure every install meets the highest level of safety, accuracy, and reliability.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Verizon Connect hardware installations, providing guidance to internal teams, contracted installation partners, and customers who complete self-installs.
- Conduct installation audits, troubleshoot device configuration issues, and resolve complex hardware/software/vehicle system problems.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Hardware Engineering, Customer Onboarding, Sales, and Vendor Partners to drive installation quality, resolve escalations, and continuously improve processes.
- Represent Field Services in product launches and customer engagements, ensuring new solutions are deployed successfully and efficiently.
- Mentor technicians and partners, helping to raise the standard of installation technique and safety across the ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Acquire and maintain current knowledge of Verizon Connect products, installation standards, and support policies.
- Perform and document installation audits and troubleshooting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and repeatability.
- Isolate and diagnose root causes of performance issues, whether hardware, software, or vehicle related, and provide resolution or escalation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on process improvements, product readiness, and field implementation best practices.
- Act as the technical point of contact for complex customer installation scenarios and escalations.
- Maintain flexibility to support both desk-based troubleshooting and field-based evaluations as needed.
Where you’ll be working
This is a hybrid role, with a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
What you need to have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of telematics installation experience (low voltage electronics and vehicle systems).
- 3+ years of customer-facing experience in technical or field services roles.
- Strong understanding of telematics hardware/software and fleet solutions.
- Ability to travel up to 25% (including extended trips of up to 2 weeks).
Even better if you have:
- MECP, ASE, or other relevant automotive/electronics certifications.
- CTT+ certification or prior technical training experience.
- Experience supporting product launches as a field subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven success working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $75,000.00 - $123,000.00.
