What you’ll be doing...

As a Senior Manager on the Marketing Activation team, you will have ownership of end-to-end marketing plan and outcomes for CMO organization, including: strategic direction, narrative, planning, and process for all MarCom initiatives. Decide final components to deliver against brief in partnership with Consumer Integrated Marketing. Commission creative, PR, media, engagement, CX, VBM and local/field marketing to execute on marketing plan elements, based on strategy. Own brand management including identity, development, and outcomes. Tracking performance and asserting recommendations for marketing plan enhancements to help meet business targets.

Specifically, in this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and owning the strategic narrative on numerous key initiatives to drive demand for Verizon’s Consumer Home portfolio

  • Partnering with CMO peer teams and business unit stakeholders to develop fully-optimized marketing plans and oversee end-to-end programs through project life cycle

  • Analyzing the nuances of key audiences/segments, the marketplace and competition within key DMAs and elevate opportunities and risks

  • Monitoring and remaining accountable to key KPIs (e.g.,business results, marketing plan component in-market performance, brand health metrics)

  • Driving planning cycles and maintain related artifacts and resources

What we’re looking for...

You are curious about what people need and want. You enjoy digging through data for insight into opportunities for how we can help our consumers work, play and connect in new and better ways.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training

  • Experience analyzing data from a variety of sources to develop a holistic view of the marketplace, competitive factors, risks, and opportunities

  • Skill in balancing multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

  • Excellent communications skills to articulate plan recommendations and drive alignment with key stakeholders including leadership

  • Demonstrated success in the ability to translate market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master’s degree

  • Experience working with a priority on digital marketing plans and media, trends and key business drivers

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager in either the Basking Ridge, NJ or 140 West Street, NYC location.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the New York location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $115,500.00 - $201,000.00.
