This role requires a visionary technology leader who will champion the integration of Generative AI technologies into our projects. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to drive innovation, enhance product offerings, and create efficient solutions that align with our strategic goals. Leading the technology charter for the Digital Sales experiences and solutioning using the latest technology stack infusing AI into the product development, Innovating, Championing the adoption of Generative AI technologies across the organization. Identifying emerging trends and opportunities in AI and propose innovative solutions. Fostering a culture of creativity and experimentation within the team.

Architectural Desiging

Designing and developing scalable, robust AI architectures that support generative models. Ensuring alignment of AI solutions with overall business strategy and technology frameworks.

Collaborating and Stakeholder Engagement. Working closely with cross-functional teams (product management, data science, engineering) to integrate AI capabilities into products.

 Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure AI solutions meet business needs.

Prototyping and Development. Leading the prototyping of new AI solutions and pilot projects to evaluate feasibility and impact. Collaborating with data scientists and engineers to implement and refine generative models, Knowledge Sharing and Training. Conducting workshops and training sessions to educate team members on Generative AI technologies and best practices, Sharing insights and case studies to inspire innovative thinking within the team.

Performance Monitoring and Improvement:

Establishing metrics to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of AI solutions.

Continuously assessing and optimize AI models and algorithms for better accuracy and efficiency.

Compliance and Ethical Considerations:

Ensuring that AI implementations adhere to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Advocating for responsible AI practices within the organization.

Developing highly-available applications and service stacks in production environments.

Providing architectural oversight for systems and services

Promoting, implementing, and educating about Agile software development

Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of development efforts with business objectives

Stakeholder management to drive product life cycle end to end

Driving results towards the technology aspects

Improving the overall Reliability score

Bringing in new ideas towards unlocking the unarticulated needs of our customers in the Digital channels infusing AI. Delivering on the AGILE KPI’s and driving incremental improvements on Quality, Supply Demand Capacity, on time completion of milestones and positive business outcomes

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or six or more years of work experience.

• Six or more years of relevant work experience.

• Proven experience as an AI architect or similar role, with a focus on Generative AI

• Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)

• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, etc.).

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and AI services.

• Software development experience in a diverse set of areas including scalable web applications

• Experience in Java/J2EE application development including experience leading a technical team in such web technologies.

• Experience in a DevOps software development environment.

• Experience migrating web applications to Cloud (AWS, Oracle Cloud or Cloud Foundry etc.)

• Knowledge and experience of Docker/Container technologies

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

• Ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced environment.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A degree in computer science or computer engineering.

• Evaluate and choose appropriate technologies, design patterns, and algorithms for the development of robust and scalable software solutions

• Innovation mindset

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills ability to assimilate data from varied sources, apply deductive reasoning and scientific method, make inferences, draw testable conclusions, and resolve problems.

• Experience in virtualization and cloud platforms.

• Experience in building large scale systems-management, network monitoring systems, and monitoring applications.

• Ability to handle teams from multiple locations and working in an onshore/offshore model.

• Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.

• Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures.

Additional Job Description

• Responsible for conceiving, specifying, designing, programming, documenting, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining software components.

• Lead discussions with the business to determine the requirements and design of large-scale software systems and services that best meets the needs of the business.

• Determine the structure, design, and scope of the software systems and services, utilizing the necessary programming languages.

• Develop the initial design and testing framework, verifying that the design meets requirements and implementing into production.

• Provides guidance and standards for resolving issues that occur during the programming and design of the software.

• Ensure that the project is completed within the specified timeframe, prioritizing resources to ensure objectives are being met.

• Identify software integration requirements for production deployment and lead integration discussions with internal/external impacted partners.

• Oversee development of the software to ensure the software implementation meets the design and integration requirements. Work with identified stakeholders to lead the production deployment and acceptance handoff of the software.

• Ensure tight privacy, compliance and security controls are maintained in all the frameworks.

• Mentors less experienced engineers in the team.

AI Strategy and Vision

• A Principal Engineer should have a strategic understanding of how AI fits into the company's long-term goals.

• AI/ML Adoption and Innovation: Experience in identifying, evaluating, and advocating for the adoption of new AI technologies (e.g., large language models, computer vision, reinforcement learning) to solve complex business problems.

• Technical Vision & Roadmap: The ability to define and communicate a technical roadmap for AI initiatives, aligning AI-driven projects with business objectives and product strategy.

Business Acumen: A deep understanding of how AI can create business value, optimize processes, and generate new revenue streams.
AI Engineering Best Practices: The ability to establish and enforce engineering best practices for AI development, including code quality, documentation, and testing.Mentorship and Skill Development: Experience in mentoring and upskilling other engineers on AI/ML concepts and tools, fostering a culture of continuous learning.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong communication skills to act as a bridge between data scientists, product managers, and other engineering teams, translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
