What you’ll be doing...
The Director, Professional Services Cybersecurity Delivery leads the AsiaPacific delivery practice for the Global Solutions organization in Verizon Business Group, managing and executing active projects across the region. This role is responsible for driving significant business growth, particularly with large multinational customers, while also overseeing key accounts in Australia including the Australia Federal Government. The Director is the primary liaison to US-based Senior Director leadership and a key interface to our Advisory Practice Leads and other crossfunctional stakeholders, and is accountable for the full range of delivery functions, including scoping, resource deployment, seamless execution for our clients, and maintaining our key customer relationship.
In this leadership role, you will be expected to:
Lead Regional Business and Team Growth
Serve as the regional lead for Verizon's Cybersecurity delivery practice, acting as the key liaison to Sales, Advisory, and regional leadership, as well as the Global Solutions US-based leadership team.
Lead a multi-functional team of cybersecurity professionals across the region, to include Australia, Japan, and Singapore, providing direct oversight and guidance to our team members.
Grow the APAC customer portfolio, with a focus on enhancing relationships with multinational clients, while maintaining key relationships within the regional portfolio.
Provide strategic guidance to the team paired with broad-based network security technical expertise, empowering our team members to deliver optimized solutions and services that meet evolving market trends.
Manage all aspects of customer relationships for active delivery projects, including customer-facing presence for executive stakeholdering and key issue resolution.
Lead interactions with Advisory and Sales teams to ensure alignment to project scope and solution design, while caring for commercial governance, pricing, and staffing plans for deals in the region, ensuring the right team members with the necessary skills are engaged on each deal.
Partner with the sales and advisory practice teams to align on strategy and leverage our global capabilities and local knowledge to win new business.
Coordinate projects and manage resources across different teams and geographies to match skill requirements with customer deliverables and timelines.
Independently develop and implement new service offerings and solutions to address complex business problems and meet evolving customer needs.
Make high-impact, independent decisions with accountability for project and program results, such as establishing new operational processes and ways of working.
Serve as a key leader in activating and implementing organizational strategy and functional designs both internally to your team and in concert with peer teams.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree and fifteen or more years of work experience.
A minimum of ten years of relevant experience, with a strong background in cybersecurity consulting, delivery, and risk management.
Experience managing a global team; proven experience in a leadership role, managing a large, complex, and technical team.
Demonstrated ability to create and execute new solutions to complex business problems.
Demonstrated technical fluency across broad-based network security solutions, especially technical Lifecycle Activities for the Firewall technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint), Proxy Services, Load Balancers, IDP/IPS, Identity & Access Management, Remote Access VPN, etc
Strong track record of driving business growth, identifying delivery efficiencies, and delivering above plan for clients.
Excellent communication skills to effectively translate complex technical concepts and processes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with cross-functional collaboration at a leadership level to achieve strategic, enterprise-wide goals.

Experience with balancing multiple stakeholder interests and acting as a thought partner for senior business leaders in a global setting.
A track record of leveraging technology to expand team capabilities and reduce the manual burden of operations.
Experience exerting leadership and influence in a matrix organization structure
Experience with Verizon's technical domain, processes, and products.
Demonstrated success in vendor partnership and management
