What you’ll be doing:
The Senior Manager of Marketing Optimization will work with campaign teams across Verizon Consumer Group (VCG) to build out quarterly testing plans and to provide support and guidance in building structured, scalable and readable tests to maximize campaign performance. The Senior Manager will also work with the corporate research team for new messaging and creative research that will help drive meaningful insights to support Verizon home and mobile products and services.
Responsibilities include:
Partnering with campaign managers, research teams, product teams, and external agencies to identify opportunities for campaign optimization through test and research initiatives.
Supporting campaign managers in setting up valid tests to improve campaign performance through campaign positioning, messaging, offer presentment, targeting, creative, etc.
Executing agile testing across email, SMS, push notifications, in-app messaging, and direct mail tactics, with a focus on personalization.
Analyzing test results and producing readouts for campaign managers and partner teams.
Presenting executive readouts to senior leadership and across Verizon on testing plans and results.
Maintaining a repository of past test results and research in order to provide insights and support for business and product marketing teams.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience using statistical analysis to understand marketing performance.
Experience building measurable campaign test plans.
Experience working efficiently and meeting deadlines in a cross-functional, team-based environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Comfort with making inferences from data; ability to analyze test results and then derive implications beyond said test.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Qualitative and Quantitative research experience.
Experience working in or as part of an Agile Marketing organization.
Experience working in strategic planning or research.
Experience presenting findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive level).
Master’s degree – better if you have an MBA.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $105,000.00 - $201,000.00.The annual salary range for the New York location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $115,500.00 - $201,000.00.
