We are seeking a versatile and talented Front-End Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying applications from the user interface all the way to the database. You will use your deep front-end knowledge and strong backend skills to deliver innovative and seamless user experiences, all within a cloud-native microservices environment on AWS.
What you’ll be doing...
Lead the development of dynamic, responsive front-end applications using Angular and other modern web technologies.
Design and build robust APIs and backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and other languages like Node.js or Python.
Work collaboratively across the entire application stack to deliver new features and improvements.
Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and manage services on AWS.
Interact with MySQL and OpenSearch to build powerful data-driven features for the front-end.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality and fast releases.
Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into technical specifications and features.
Provide mentorship to other engineers on best practices for both front-end and full-stack development.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; or the equivalent relevant experience.
Deep expertise in front-end development using Angular.
Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building backend services.
Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.
Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS (e.g., S3, CloudFront, Lambda).
Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch for search integration.
Solid experience with relational databases, specifically MySQL.
Expertise in Git and modern version control workflows.
Proficient in other scripting/backend languages like Python or Node.js.

The ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action, giving regard to the impact on other project teams, development partners and stakeholders.
The ability to comprehend complex business and technical scenarios.
The ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation.
Good verbal and written communication skills working within a distributed development team.
