We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Platform Engineer to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will play a crucial part in managing our API Platform, with a primary focus on our ongoing hybrid migration, day-to-day operations, and automation efforts. You will be a key contributor to the health and security of our platform while collaborating with various internal and external teams.
What You'll Be Doing...
Take a hands-on approach to all aspects of administering API platforms. Actively participate in the hybrid migration of API platform, including the eventual shutdown of the OPDK environment.
Automation to improve operational efficiency using Python, Shell and Jenkins Pipeline.
Provide support for API incidents and swiftly resolve issues to ensure minimal disruption.
Utilize tools like New Relic and Elastic to monitor traffic and resource utilization, implementing proactive alerting to maintain platform health and operational efficiency.
Engage in essential tasks such as rehydration, certificate updates, and product upgrades to keep the platform secure and up-to-date.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions and achieve shared goals.

What We're Looking For...
You possess a high level of drive and motivation, along with excellent communication and analytical abilities, making you a valuable team player in a fast-paced work setting. You take initiative and bring forth ideas, demonstrating your capability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal stakeholders from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
You'll Need to Have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Three or more years of professional experience, specifically with API Platform administration (Apigee).
Strong expertise with both OPDK and Hybrid environments.
Experience as an Automation Engineer using Python, Shell, and Jenkins Pipeline.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency with DevOps tools like Jira, Confluence, and GitLab, along with a solid understanding of CI/CD platforms.
A deep understanding of AWS services and architectures, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudFormation.
The ability to quickly adapt to change and a strong desire to learn new technologies.
Even Better If You Have:
Hands-on experience with Hybrid Migration.
Demonstrated knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Google Cloud).
