What you’ll be doing...
We are looking to hire a Senior Email Front-End Developer who focuses on HTML and CSS to deliver our customer-facing marketing communications. You will use your expertise to solve complex problems, find technical unique solutions, and optimize the authoring process to support better speed-to-market content changes.
In this role you will work with our Verizon business teams to build email and direct mail communications for our home and mobile businesses. You’ll help deliver messaging that provides awareness of products, updates on services and offers to customers. Additionally, you will work with the larger development team to identify authoring opportunities and implement AEM development solutions.
Your efforts will inspire customer loyalty, grow Verizon's revenue, and enhance the overall customer experience by developing highly personalized customer communications that deliver more than 10 billion touches annually.
Responsibilities includes:
Leveraging wireframes, designs, and components to transform business requirements into email or mail communications development using HTML, CSS, and AEM components.
Developing more complex custom HTML projects that require high-touch communication with stakeholders.
Developing and consulting on multiple concurrent projects.
Advising and working with marketing teams and other stakeholders to address capability gaps and recommend solutions.
Thoroughly test all work to ensure adherence to functional and design requirements.
Working with QA testing resources to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
Collaborating with PMO and Team Operations to provide work estimates, establish timelines, and communicate statuses.
Consulting on process and technology innovations that enhance capabilities or increase productivity within the AEM ecosystem.
Mentoring junior developers on email development best practices.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Development experience using current HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Experience with AEM 6.5 building blocks such as the following: templates, components, dispatcher and workflow.
Experience building emails.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira.
Experience working with a Digital Asset Management system.
Proficient in G-Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Forms, etc.)
Even better if you have:
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline preferred.
AEM Certification.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with content management systems or software.
Experience with the Adobe suite of communications products.
Knowledge of Adobe AEM component development and best practices.
Knowledge of content modeling.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $120,500.00 - $231,000.00.
