What you’ll be doing...

You’ll support contract and procurement activities from start to finish to ensure the best global purchase decisions that will meet our objectives. Coordinate activities and resources, and work with partners to execute contracts, and ensure IT, Regulatory and Global Compliance. You’ll be the expert when it comes to all things related to procurement and global contract management for your projects and make sure that we get the best resources at the best price in the smoothest process possible.

You recognize the importance of establishing positive relationships with external partners and suppliers through the contract lifecycle. You don’t shy away from conflict but engage with all parties to reach a positive outcome. You are at your best when working towards tight deadlines. Balancing multiple projects keeps you energized and focused.

  • Investigating and resolving issues for requisitions and shopping carts that fail to generate Purchase Orders (POs) automatically.

  • Creating emergency orders and other non-standard POs.

  • Utilising daily reports to identify and clear blockages in Purchase Requisitions.

  • Collaborating with engineering and other teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

  • Updating and managing delivery dates for all active orders.

  • Administering Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) for incorrect or damaged materials.

  • Addressing and resolving Vendor and Carrier Performance issues, ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time to the correct location.

  • Resolving exceptions by investigating and correcting discrepancies.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology-related field.

  • Experience with project management tools, global procurement and/or contract management.

  • Analytical, problem solving, communication, negotiation, and influence skills.

  • Developed reports suitable for different audiences at various levels and functions.
