The Merchandising Fixture Production Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful completion of custom millwork projects, from production/procurement through installation. This role serves as the central point of contact for internal and external teams, ensuring millwork projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing projects specifically within the architectural millwork industry.

  • Production Oversight & Coordination -  Strong understanding of woodworking machinery, materials (solid wood, veneers, laminates, hardware) and fabrication techniques.

  • Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings.

  • Communicating and using interpersonal and negotiation skills with internal and external partners/vendors.

  • Budgeting & Scheduling Management -with attention to detail.

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Quality Assurance & Documentation - Problem-solving attitude and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

In this role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days (VCG in office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)

What we’re looking for...

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of millwork fabrication processes, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing complex projects.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Three or more years of project management experience, specifically within the architectural millwork industry,  managing multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Experience with woodworking machinery, materials (solid wood, veneers, laminates, hardware), and fabrication techniques.

  • Experience in communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with internal and external partners/vendors.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • PMP or other project management certifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings.

  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

  • Workfront project management experience preferred or knowledge of similar PM tools/systems.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $115,500.00 - $201,000.00.
