What you’ll be doing...
The Strategic Relationship Manager role requires a self-motivated individual who is committed to managing and executing our customer retention strategy.
Operating within the Verizon Business group in EMEA, your focus will be on building strong working relationships with our current customers in order to maximise the value of the partnership we have. This will help ensure we maximise the opportunity for extension of business agreements already in place. The client experience will be in your hands as you engage with existing customers to drive customer success and protect our revenue base.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction across a high volume of accounts.
Achieving contract extension and renewal targets through working with existing business customers.
Working collaboratively with our internal groups (Pricing, Contract Management etc.) to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Developing and maintaining strong internal working relationships with colleagues in other functions, to enable a smooth and efficient contract extension process.
Executing customer offerings and driving deal velocity for Verizon Business.
Presenting proposals to customers, negotiating winning outcomes for both Verizon and our customers, and assisting in the removal of factors inhibiting contract renewal.
Managing renewal processes, from customer engagement through to quote and order, defending Verizon revenue, limiting loss and reducing write-down.

You constantly look for solutions to challenges wherever you can, and enjoy collaborating with others. You’re not afraid of ambiguity and like to close and renew sales contracts within a set of outlined deal architecture standards. You love to work in a team and are dedicated to contributing strong results in order to achieve team targets.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
Experience of working directly with business customers, with involvement in selling network, communication or cyber security services.
Experience in securing new business or extending current customer agreements.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Experience of developing strategic internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Experience of working with Verizon Business inventory, quoting and ordering systems.
Demonstrated problem solving skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and project management skills
Proven ability to deliver accurate reporting and forecasts for business leaders, related to contract renewals and the associated financial impacts.
Experience of managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
