  • The Lead Inside Sales Representative’s goal is to develop a pipeline of SMB clients that have opportunities for future growth, introducing new upsell products and features, product demonstration and ultimately closing the business to secure incremental revenue. 

    Make outbound phone contacts, conduct web demonstrations, present/negotiate pricing, partner with Finance to present business cases for contract re-writes and pricing negotiations, execute contracts via Docusign, manage email campaigns developed in partnership with Marketing, and leverage other digital and inside sales tools across multiple platforms.

    • High focus on working existing SMB Market Organization

    • Drive revenue through closing orders for additional vehicles and/or asset tracking solutions, and through closing orders for emerging software solutions and services as part of the growing portfolio within Verizon Connect.

    • Partner with other departments such as Customer Support, Customer Success, Implementation and deployment to ensure their customers’ are fully supported at all times.

    • Drive peer activity and communicate several times daily with the team on sales activity metrics and performance.

    • Prioritize activity and sales pipeline to achieve goals with an emphasis on managing personal time, productivity and accurate forecasting.

    • Follow-up on proposals and negotiate contracts with customers in collaboration with the Managing Partner.

    • Collaborate with internal and external partners from sale through implementation.

    • Maintain an accurate pipeline of viable opportunities that you are currently working to secure a contract.

    In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

    You'll need to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience

    • Three or more years of relevant work experience in a SaaS environment or B2B sales

    Even better if you have one or more of the following:

    • Previous experience selling into SMB Accounts

    • Telematics sales experience

    • 3+ years of B2B inside sales experience

    • 1+ years of product sales account management experience a plus

    • A degree

    • Ability to respond with a sense of urgency in a sales-driven culture

    • Competitive personality with a track record of overachieving

    • Excellent interpersonal and team skills

    • Receptiveness to feedback, a willingness to learn and embrace continuous improvement.

    • Ability to be a resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues

    • Strong leadership qualities

    Achieve continued growth by providing exceptional customer service to drive sales. The Inside Sales role is a consultative inside sales position, working outbound calling campaigns and assisting customers through account management. The focus is on successfully engaging Customers through an Inside Sales selling motion.
    * Assess individual and team performance, and initiate developmental plans to narrow competency gaps.
    * Responsible for timely monitoring of daily/weekly/monthly reporting of sales results/activity to ensure sales, retention, and compliance objectives are met.
    * Managing relationships with customers, monitoring customer satisfaction and addressing open issues, problems and special requests.
    * Analyze staffing needs of team. Provide hiring, promotion, and disciplinary action recommendations.
    * Remain current on all wireless products and services, industry and competitive trends, and reinforce findings with team.
    * Conduct outbound calls on qualified leads, identifying opportunities and selling Data, Voice, and Connect, to primarily drive adoption/ up-sell in small customers via telephone based selling.
    * Listening to customer's needs and making appropriate recommendations.
    * Meeting/exceeding activity/customer engagement objectives.
    * Partners with customer to understand their product/solution needs to identify present and future needs in a consultative selling approach.
    * Exceeds customer expectations in the area of quality account management.
