What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is investing in its network to improve the way we live, work, and communicate. The foundation of those improvements is streamlining processes, reducing costs, and aligning customers to core and next generation products.  As a member of the Business Transformation team, we work drive efficiencies in the business and unlock operating expense savings and cash flow benefit.

  • As a Project Manager in the Business Transformation team you will play a critical role in the Strategy, planning and implementation of our transformational efforts.
  • You will establish foundational processes and structure within the team.
  • You will work alongside our business partners to help drive the delivery of the business benefits associated with our programs.
  • You will support project governance by maintaining Metrics, Action Registers, and other key reporting tools.
  • Furthermore; you will track and report on program status in relation to the key program indicators used to establish and maintain the programs critical path.
  • You will drive efficiencies and unlock additional cash flow benefit from the program driven by expense reduction.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or six or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or six or more years of work experience.
  • Experience in analyzing customer bills.
  • Background in pricing and contracting.
  • Ability to analyze data and locate solutions for gaps.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Master’s degree.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft suite; especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A demonstrative change agent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of employees across the business; ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in business requirements and technology.
  • Leadership and strategic planning and execution experience.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $114,000.00 and $212,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
