What you’ll be doing...
This position is part of the Corporate Systems Group and will focus on delivery of innovative solutions and daily support that meet the long term needs of the portfolio with a focus on HR / Payroll / Time Reporting / Absence and related System Integration including Vendor system.
Combining technical and functional experience/skills to support a complex cross-functional suite of US & Global Payroll, Time Reporting, and Absence Management applications in Verizon's fast-paced environment.
Focusing on delivery of innovative solutions and daily support that meet the long term needs of the portfolio with a focus on HR / Payroll / Time Reporting / Absence and related Integration.
Supporting day to day operations specifically for large scale HR/Payroll/Time ERP applications in particular PeopleSoft, Infor and Workday.
Working in a large enterprise, global environment, dispersed teams across multiple time zones and geographies
Paying close attention to complex detail and understanding written and oral instructions.

What we’re looking for...
As a Sr Engr Cslt - Software Devt of the Employee Experience Platform, you’ll be working across the Verizon CSG Organization. You will provide solutions to complex problems creatively and make decisions that impact projects & staff members.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four more years of experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Six or more years of experience in the HCM and WFM domain with two or more years of experience in Architecture & Design.
Experience supporting day to day operations specifically for large scale HR/Payroll/Time ERP applications in particular PeopleSoft, Infor and Workday.
Extensive experience with key integrations: Time Reporting (Infor), Benefit Vendors, GL Systems, Tax Vendors, Absence Management, and HR Systems (Workday).
Required Technical Skill Set: PeopleSoft suite of tools (People Tools, Application Engine, SQR), SQL, COBOL, ESPx.
Ability to work well under time constraints.
Ability to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Experience in architecting software development projects within an HR/Payroll/Time ERP application in particularly PeopleSoft.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and pay close attention to complex detail and understand written and oral instructions
Facilitation and presentation skills.
Project management tools, JIRA, Confluence experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
