What you’ll be doing...

As a Senior Application Support Engineer, you will be joining the COE, working on full Applications and Operations lifecycle management, maintaining and operating on systems that provide security to this corporation. You will also be managing systems that will onboard specific integrated partners dedicated to the corporation’s business requirements, globally. Within this role, you will also provide support to a specific set of niche clients with whom you will engage, including Service Providers related to Government. 

Being specialists, we are accountable for ensuring that we secure access and data right across the organization, including employees, devices, networks, cloud and systems. You will need to have a strong baseline set of skills to be able to operate in this demanding and challenging environment. Whilst working within this role, you will develop additional skills that will lead you towards an understanding of Quantum. You will maximize your expertise in ensuring that our services remain operational under a 5x9’s for our critical mission systems across the globe, working very closely with your peers. You will also be engaging with SME’s to ensure we resolve all challenges that are identified and which come through multiple identification methodologies. You will need to be dynamic, self-driven, focused and have a real desire for security to be part of this talented global group of individuals.

In this role you will be:

• Providing an exceptional level of technical expertise from a systems and application engineering perspective, ensuring we maintain capacity, service availability and optimal delivery

• Going above and beyond for our organization, providing solutions using our 

• IoT and Cloud based technologies, whilst working within a defined business framework.

• Providing critical input and focused delivery on Problem/Query resolution of issues, with a high degree of satisfaction, technical expertise, business acumen and within the agreed timeliness.

• Following our operational process and procedures as defined within our ISO framework, whilst being able to adapt to our continuous drive for excellence through change as needed by the business.

• Bringing your experience of Production systems management and thus maintain a zero-outage policy at all times.

• Participating in Partner and/or client calls with your peers, as needed.

• Delivering on resolution of complex issues individually or as a contributor with the team.

• Undertaking new delivery, integration, onboarding and other activities as an individual or a contributor.

• Engaging and working with the various departments within the organization for any of our security matters to ensure we retain their security posture.

• Assessing, preparing and assisting Compliance Officer during yearly audit meetings as/when needed.

What we’re looking for...

You will need to have:

• Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in Computing 

• Experience in Production platform management and application 

• analytics/engineering/debugging.

• Experience in operating under pressure during crisis management

• Experience in dealing with Technical SME’s

• Skills in DevOps

• Willingness to travel on demand (up to approximately 25% of your time) between sites (Amsterdam and Belgium)

• Valid Driver's license

• Must be willing to obtain Security Clearance - Requirements are EU Passport and be a Belgium resident.

• Fluency in English.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Knowledge of Cloud based technologies (i.e. Azure, AWS, InTune).

• Experience in encryption, auth methods, key management, Quantum.

• Application integration design and modelling.
